Quiet family place
Not a great place for weekenders. We reserved a waterfront campsite but instead got put on the south farm field with anoter trailer parked in front of us. And quiet time is a joke with bar down the road blasting til wee hours of the morning.
Great people felt welcomed
Be very careful when dealing with these people. They mislead you and leave out important information. We made a reservation for one of their rustic cabins and were told that we had to pay the full amount to make the reservation. I paid the full amount and then realized we could not go and called back to cancel. We have been waiting and still no money back....not a dime. I spoke with a lady today who was less than kind and she told me that we would get our money when the bank gets it to us. They failed to mention that they were keeping $20 for a cancellation fee. I feel we were mislead about the entire thing and well not deal with them again. I found this site by calling Gordon's campground in Kendallville, IN. I was told they own 6 campgrounds in IN and she was full to try one of their other sites. It would be my advise to be certain you get EVERY detail when dealing with them and also get it in writing BEFORE any transactions are done. Mean while we sit and wait for a partial refund of the money we wasted dealing with a less than upfront business.
Love this campground as well have some awesome friends that camp there that introduced us to this spot. Haven't been there in a while due to family health issues
